German Shepherd is one of the most popular dog breeds in the Philippines. This breed is in the herding breed group which means owners must expect that they are highly energetic and they would love to have a regular exercise.

They are loved for their confidence, loyalty, and bravery

This is the breed commonly used in the military and police for patrolling, bomb sniffing, and search and rescue. They are incredibly active dogs. Despite their brooding nature, they also make as a great family pet and wonderful companions.

They have protective instincts, an affectionate nature, and boundless energy. This is among the large dog breeds.

  • they are 22–26 inches tall and can live for up to 10–12 years
