CHOW CHOW has a lion-like appearance and it has this distinctive blue-black tongue, a dog breed that originated in China.

Among the most adorable dog breeds in the world is the chow chow. They originated in China and they have medium to large sizes. Based on the records, they used to be guard dogs and hunters for the emperors. This breed has a sturdy body and an appearance that is close to what a lion looks like. Their body is covered with thick fur and it is especially thick around their neck which gives them the lion-like appearance.
