Is The Lost City Of Atlantis Just A Story? This One Will Change Your Belief.

There was a circulating story about a beautiful island which soon disappeared and was thought to submerge under the ocean waves. Plato left nothing but a story but no proof if the city really exists.

Wonder of the ancient world or fantasy? The story of the fabled Atlantis has captivated humanity for centuries. Scientists claim to have pinpointed its exact location - under mud flats in southern Spain

The stories were retold through books and even movies which were graced by children. It has then built desires to adventurers if there really was this city. The city was described to have been carefully and well-built by engineers and architects.

While it remained a story, there were people fascinated in studying the lost city who believed that Plato was not just telling a story but as actually recording a natural disaster.

But is Atlantis really true or just a product of imagination. Over the years, experts have been studying about the lost city and its great possibility of existence. While none have seen the city themselves, the studies and discoveries are leading to something.

In the late ‘60s, Greek archaeologist Angelos Galanopoulos theorized that around 1500 BCE, a massive volcanic eruption ripped apart the island of Santorini in the Mediterranean and probably wiped out the civilization on the Greek islands and regions of Greece—the one too that sank Atlantis.

However, it is still a question to questers where the Atlantis could really be. British Royal Air Force photo interpreter J.M Allen is convinced that Atlantis lies in Altiplano near the Andes Mountains in Bolivia. While so, Edgar Cayce, a physic channeler, believed that the remains would be found off the coast of Florida near Bimini Island.

While some more believe that the lost city could be found in some seas around the globe, there are who believe that Atlantis is nothing more than a myth.

But the latest discovery did not lead to any other seas in the world but under the mud flats in Spain. Scientists believed that the lost city do not now lies under the sea but submerged just north of Cadiz.

Using the satellite photo, a suspected submerged city was found. And surveying through the area, the team of researchers and investigators combined deep-ground radar, digital mapping and underwater technology to push for the discovery.

The scientists claim that they have already sited the location of the city which is according to them under the mud flats in the southern Spain. According to them, the tsunamis swamped the Atlantis to submerge.

“This is the power of tsunamis,” Professor Richard Freund of the University of Hartford said.

The team found strange series of ‘memorial cities’ buried in the vast marshland of the Dona Ana Park built in Atlantis’ image by refugees who fled the destructive tsunami. Freund claimed that those who survive the tsunami must have built new cities.

In the documentary, this is what the team found out.

What do you think of Atlantis? Is it a myth or just waiting to be unraveled?
